So 'long laptop...

Yeah. It died. Again.
That would be why I have been M.I.A! However, this morning, I found an app for my phone! Woo-hoo! My SIL is an amazing photographer,(farlow photography), and has a photo shoot coming up, and I made a few things for it!

Crocheted Bracelets!!

Last night I decided to make a bracelet... TWO actually & they were so simple, quick & fun to make, that I plan making A LOT more!! I really like them, because they are a unique take to jewelry! So many people have the nautical rope bracelets or hemp bracelets, & these crocheted bracelets are a super dun way to mix it up & stand out!! I also love the idea of beading the yarn & then crocheting... which is what I plan on trying ASAP... hopefully tonight!!! <3

Long Time, No Blog!!

Sorry!! Not that anyone reads this! Haha! Well, life has been pretty hectic with dentist appointments, finding a new job, having a sick baby, & car wrecks!! Anyways, here is what I have been up to lately!!
HEADBANDS!!!!
I did a little "giveaway" on facebook & 3 people won a headband! So, here they are!!

Well, luckily, I am off until TUESDAY, so I will get a lot of crocheting done!! <3

Work...

No, this is more like PLAY!!!
During the day I work at a salon in Gulf Shores... & we are currently remodeling (&UPDATING!!), which gives me a lot of time to crochet at work!! <3 it!! I have been behind on posting due to having a hectic schedule & a sketchy camera!! Here is what I have been working on!!
This is a cute little sunglasses holder I made to help myself out!! My sunglasses get so dirty in my purse, which drives me NUTS! So, I whipped up this little beauty & problem solved!! =]

I am also working on a monster hat & two owl hats... all set to ship on Monday!!
& then I will be working on the "First Four" prizes! I am pretty excited!!

Ruffled Watermelon Bib

This bib alone makes me want a little girl!!
How sweet would this little bib be for summer portraits! I have plans to crochet a matching hat & diaper cover to complete the look!! I will post pictures of the outcome soon!!! <3
This bib was crocheted with Red Heart worsted weight (4) Yarn! It is super soft & washer friendly... however, it will probably stain easily!

Crocheted Passy Pod

This little gem is made in pretty traditional colors for a sweet baby boy, but it can be made in ANY color(s)!!
Use it in your diaper bag, purse etc., so that baby's passy is always easy to find & is always CLEAN!!
This pod features a drawstring closure, making it easy to open/close & pretty secure, so that passy won't fall out!

Krispy Kreme... PSSSH!!

I just LOVE this doughnut! All the cute, without the calories!! This actually is a teether rattle!! <3
I have, only one problem with it... I want a doughnut EVERY TIME I SEE IT!!!

Fall Into Baby

A sweet little burp cloth, hat & matching booties!! How cute, right?!

Sassy Summer Fun Flops!!

These are not only fun to make, they are incredibly cute & easy to customize!! The ones pictured were made for a friend & her little girl!
I have a few other pairs in the makes, but they were put on hold for some hats!! They should be done soon, though!!
They are made using Old Navy flip flops & Red Heart Yarn!

Sweet Little Monster

This little guy is pretty cute right?! I sure think so! I am currently working on one for a friend who is expecting her first baby! From his bug eyes to his 1 tooth this guy oozes cute! I will post a picture of the new one ASAP!!
The inspiration for this hat actually came from all of the owl hats! I bet you can see the resemblance, ha! I think this guy is a keeper, & hopefully I will get to make a lot more of him! & maybe a few her's' too!

Beach Bunny Elffin Hat!

How sweet is this little hat?!
I gave it a beachy color scheme, because I REALLY want to go to the beach (which, WILL happen, soon)! The hat was made with Red Heart (4) Worsted Weight Yarn! The hat has a little ribbing around the bottom to help it fit snugly!
This hat would make a super cute photo prop for newborn portraits & can be made in ANY color(s)!! Or change it to red & white or green & white for Christmas!! Yes, this is a cute one & I can't wait to make more!

Whoo Whoo Who has OWL HAT fever?!

I know I DO!!! I have seen these delicious hats all over the internet, & finally decided to make one... & I couldn't stop!!
The first one I made for my AMAZING sister in law (check her out: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Farlow-Photography/183015691735590) as a thank you for helping with my blog layout!
The next two are for a brother & sister...& boy will they look super cute!!!
& the last one is for a sweet baby on the way! I am currently working on a matching one for his big brother!! & then one for one of their family friends!! These little guys will be whooo handsome! Haha, get it?! (Not funny, I know)! As soon as I finish the other two, I will post pictures!!

Baby Caps!

Here are some baby caps I have been working on! They are all sized for a newborn, because I have crazy BABY FEVER!!
I live in the DEEP SOUTH, so of course I have a camo cap, but it is in a fun blue color scheme instead of neutrals!
The second cap is from, what I am calling, the Fall Into Baby Collection, because of its fall colors!!
The Orange-n-Turquoise Cap is a cute & modern cap for any little one!!
& in baby tradition, a Pastel Baby Cap in classic boy colors, baby blue & soft yellow!

All of these caps were crocheted with RED HEART (4) Worsted Weight Yarn, which is acrylic. They also (except for the blue camo cap) feature a long pom pom, which is more floppy! It is, I guess, somewhere between a pom pom & a tassle; either way, it is incredibly cute!!

Sweet Baby Poncho

I made this the other night, from a pattern on http://cache.lionbrand.com/ & while it did not turn out quite like the picture, I am incredibly pleased with it!!
The yarn required for the pattern has been discontinued, & the craft store I was at did not have any of the listed substitutions! So, I chose a level 5 bulky weight yarn by Loops & Threads. The color I chose is called ashes. I am so pleased with this yarn. It was so workable! I also added snaps on the inside of the "sleeves" to give it a better fit for baby!

HELLO WORLD

Hi there Cyber Space!! I am pretty new to the world of blogging… so PLEASE bear with me!
I LOVE to crochet! It is what I use most of my down time for (you know, that little bit I get with being a wife, mommy, & working full time)!
My hopes for this blog is to share what I make, to learn new techniques, to share patterns, & maybe to even sell some stuff in the process!!
<3
